So, who is Aron Strong? Here’s some interesting facts about me.
I’m the Pastor of Communication and Outreach at Clovis Hills Community Church. I love my job and the people I get to work with are amazing. I really dig the art of communication- helping get the message out LOUD & CLEAR, in a way that can rise above the noise in our lives, is easily understood and motivates us to action.
I’m a high functioning introvert which means I get energy by being alone or with my family, but can function like an extrovert for short periods of time. I think of it like an energy battery. When I’m on empty, you can carry me around, just don’t expect me to do much. By the way, shopping is an extroverted activity. In case you were wondering.
I love my wife and son beyond measure. My wife and I rarely fight and most disagreements are resolved fairly quickly. Our 2 year old son has made this a little more challenging recently, but it’s still true. Either we’re’ doing something right or we’re both in denial.
I’m an avid martial artist. As I don’t hang out in places where violence is typically breaks out, it’s more about the beauty, art and strategy of physical combat. It’s also a great place to hang out with guys who have no idea what it is I do and keeps me sharp on being authentic.
I love the art of telling stories. Books and movies are a passion. I love how stories can comfort, disturb, challenge, explain, create questions, and on and on.
I believe in the power and the fleetingness of a single moment in time.
I find myself often a mix of contradictions. I think of it as just being human.
