At 11:15 on Saturday night, we had just said goodbye to our friends, the Poskitts and were sitting in our living room, hanging out getting ready for bed when I heard my car alarm going off.  I thought a cat had jumped on it (probably skurd) and so I got up to turn it off.  As I walked outside I saw a black sedan (I think an altima) double parked next to my car.

As I walked closer, I saw that my driver side door was open.  I then heard someone from inside the sedan yell, “somebody’s coming!”  Then I saw a dude jump out of my car, into the sedan and speed off.  All I could muster to say was, “Hey!” but I did say it twice.

As I walked around to see what had happened, this was the sight of my car.

My poor car has been through so much over the last ten years!  The police thought that since nothing was missing and the radio wasn’t touched, they were probably after the car, which means that I’m rolling in a sweet ride that is desirable to all manner of criminals.
