Christian Music Awards

This weekend, some of the band and I got to participate in the Christian Music Awards at Warnors Theatre and it was a blast!  There was a lot of chaos surrounding this whole thing, from a last minute change of venues to call times that weren’t exactly accurate, but all in all, it was a great experience.  We came in third place, which we’re all pretty happy about and got to meet a lot of really great people!

Here’s a recap of the experience, including the song we played (one of my originals) in about 8 minutes!

For those of you interested in seeing the entire event, it will be broadcast on the Gospel Music Channel at 9 pm on Saturday, September 20th.

  4. Now that I have been enlightened and see that you clearly were not performing at a discount shopping center parking lot, I want to say….Awesome job! I am really impressed. You Rock!

  7. Awesome job with the “rock star” song recorded over my voice on the video. I probably talked way too much during taping. But at least I got the whole performance!

  8. The Paul Haugen Band? Did you take a little lesson from Bon Jovi on that one or something? Seriously… I’m sure no one else in the band matters anyway.

  9. Oh… and way to not bring a mute pedal and cause a huge pop in the PA. It’s called being a professional. (sorry… just felt like bustin a little chops today) BOSS TU-2, everyone should have one.
