Happy Friggin’ New Year

So, I was going to write a post showing video from our big Christmas services a couple of weeks ago, but instead, I think I’ll write about my camera being stolen from the back seat of Jenn’s car along with about $200 in Christmas presents that needed to be exchanged, which prevented me from doing so.

That was a long sentence; sorry.

As you may know, I have the most desirable car in the free world as it has been broken into twice in the last 4 months.  However, what you may not know is that Jenn’s car is number 2 on that list because it was broken into last night and our valuables were pilfered.

These incidences have been perhaps the most frustrating thing ever, because we will now have paid $750 in deductibles to replace three windows and 2 stereos and because our camera and other merchandise are covered under our renter’s insurance, we’ll be paying another deductible for that.

That’s right, nearly $1000 in 4 months to purchase things I already own!!

I’m thinking of doing a stakeout.  I’ll park a car right in front of my apartment and surrounded by 37 other cars of equal or greater value and watch as the vandals repeatedly break into one of our cars! Then I’ll provide an accurate description of the perpetrator and the vehicle and wait patiently for him to do it again.

This is ridiculous!

Here’s to a burglary-free year in 2009!Â

  4. All I can say is WoW.

Can you park it in the gate at your complex? Or do you have to park it on the road?
